Briefing: Google’s antitrust woes around the world

The Media Policy department within WAN-IFRA decided that it was time to bring you a comprehensive briefing on how Google’s antitrust troubles are spreading around the world, who is winning and who is losing, and why.

In the paper you will find an exhaustive summary of the seven-year EU probe, as well as an analysis of the position of news media publishers with regard to the European case in particular, and Google and antitrust in general. The 17-pages briefing concludes with an overview of the antitrust probes in Google’s business practices the world over: from India to Brazil, to Russia, South Korea, the US and Canada.

As usual, we hope that our original research will prove beneficial particularly to our members’ day-to-day activity.
