Mobile Publishing Suite from dpa digital services

Many publishing houses and media companies have begun a digital transformation and earn a significant portion of their income from the sale of digital subscriptions. Providing readers with the comfort of consuming content "on the go" via smartphone, tablet, or a wearable device such as a smart watch is profitable. Greater customer satisfaction, better readership numbers, wider reach, and new forms of advertising bring in additional revenues.

It was for just those purposes that the Mobile Publishing Suite was developed, to offer contents from newspapers, consumer and corporate magazines, and product information quickly and simply in app form to tablets and smartphones – with the look and feel of the parent publication.

The company also presented VideoServices, which supports clients in areas from standardized streaming to individual production workflow. These services provide live videos as well as recorded video clips for various video players and devices.

Regarding the World Publishing Expo, Désirée Leidinger, who is responsible for the German market, said, "It's quite important for us to be here as exhibitors, because our direct competitors are here and we can see all our customers here. This is the most important exhibition."

More information is available on the company's website.

The World Publishing Expo and related events can be followed on the conference blog or on Twitter #wpe15.
