Awards for India's quality newspaper printers

The International Newspaper Color Quality Club (INCQC) is the only worldwide printing quality competition for newspapers.

Its goal is to improve the quality of reproduction and printing in production, while also increasing competitiveness as well as training and motivating all personnel.

The competition happens every two years since 1994.

This evening the awards were given by Jacob Mathew, President, WAN-IFRA, P G Pawar, Chairman, Sakaal Media Group, Manfred Werfel, Deputy CEO, WAN-IFRA, Thomas Jacob, Deputy CEO, WAN-IFRA and Magdoom Mohamed, Managing Director, WAN-IFRA South Asia.

The following centers won awards - Ananda Bazar Patrika printed in Kolkata. The Printers Mysore Pvt Ltd for Deccan Herald printed in Bengaluru. HT Media Ltd. for Hindi Hindustan printed in Patna. HT Media Ltd. for Hindustan Times printed in New Delhi. Bennett, Coleman and Co.Ltd. for Maharashtra Times printed in Kandivali. HT Media Ltd. for Mint printed in Mumbai.

The Printers Mysore Pvt Ltd for Prajavani printed in Bengaluru. Bennett, Coleman and Co.Ltd. Sunday Times printed in Bengaluru. Bennett, Coleman and Co.Ltd. for Sunday Times printed in Chennai.

Kasturi & Sons Ltd for The Hindu printed in Coimbatore. ABP Pvt Ltd. for The Telegraph printed in Kolkata. Bennett, Coleman and Co.Ltd. The Times of India printed in Airoli.
